As of 2015, Deli Management Inc. owns Jason's Deli. It is one of the largest regional deli chains in the United States with over 240 locations in 28 states. It is known for its healthful food menu and organic, all-natural ingredients.

Joe Tortorice Jr. founded the company in 1976, and it became the first major restaurant to eliminate artificial trans fats and high fructose corn syrup from its foods. It offers an extensive menu and catering service that accommodate vegan, gluten-free and other dietary preferences. In addition to a leadership program for its employees, it also has a non-profit foundation that aims to assist employees in a crisis.
