Where is Palm Springs located in California?

Palm Springs is located in Riverside County in southern California west of Riverside and east of the Joshua Tree National Park. It sits in the Coachella Valley and is adjacent to Mt. San Jacinto.

Palm Springs is located along Interstate 10 and State Highway Route 111. It is just north of and adjacent to Cathedral City and south of the Morongo Valley and Big Morongo Canyon Preserve. The coordinates are 33° 49′ 49″ N, 116° 32′ 43″ W. The closest major cities are Riverside, San Bernardino and Los Angeles to the west. If traveling east it is one of the last major cities along Highway 10 before entering a long stretch through the Sonoran Desert to Arizona.
