Orange County no longer accepts cash payments for toll roads, and every vehicle must travel in the FasTrak lane when passing through toll plazas. For state roads 73, 133, 241 and 261, license plate-readers register every passing vehicle. Drivers have 48 hours to pay their tolls before receiving a fine. The initial violation fine is $57.50 and increases to $100 if a driver ignores it.
