Valero credit card holders can mail in their payments, make online payments through a free self-serve system, set up automatic payments with their banks or make payments by phone, states Valero. People making payments by phone have to pay a fee if the payment is expedited. There's also an express option for people mailing in payments.

Customers are only required to make minimum payments, but they pay interest if they have a revolving balance on their accounts, warns Valero. The card can only be used for gas or items at Valero gas stations, so cash withdrawals are not possible. There is a rewards program associated with the card.
