Is the pear phone and laptop real?

The pear phone and laptop seen Nickelodeon cartoons is not real. The network made them up to avoid product placement issues with Apple and Microsoft, but they are the fictional counterparts to real products.

Nickelodeon has a couple of shows where the writers needed fictional smartphones for the storyline, and they introduced the pear phone. The crew thought it would be fun to have a phone that was pear shaped, so the props department created one. Laptops and other products from the Pear company make appearances on the shows, and prop masters use regular laptops and electronic devices, but cover up the real logos with the Pear company logo.
