What are people-to-people student ambassadors?

People to People student ambassadors are students who have the opportunity to travel globally with the People to People program. Student ambassadors come from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and they have the chance to learn about other cultures, engage in fun activities and meet local citizens.

The student ambassador program is designed to provide the chance for international travel for students in grades five through 12 and college. The program is focused on increasing global awareness for young people, and it is one of two programs offered by People to People. The other program is the Leadership Ambassador program, which involves domestic travel and focusing on leadership and college preparation.
