What is Peppa Pig?

"Peppa Pig" is a British animated television series for preschoolers. It was created, directed and produced by Astley Baker Davies and first aired in 2004. Each "Peppa Pig" episode is roughly five minutes long, and as of 2015, 209 episodes have been released.

Peppa Pig is the main character of the show, and each episode revolves around what she does with her friends and family. In addition to Peppa Pig, the main characters are George, Mommy Pig, Daddy Pig, Grandpa Pig and Granny Pig. Peppa Pig has many friends from play group who frequent the show, including Suzy Sheep, Pedro Pony, Danny Dog and Rebecca Rabbit.
