Does perfume have an expiry date?

Most perfumes last between three and five years from their manufacture. Perfumes that have higher quality ingredients and come in opaque or dark bottles last closer to five years.

Bottles that are closed tightly undergo less evaporation than those with loose lids. Keeping perfume in the bathroom actually shortens its life span because of the humidity and heat present in that room.
