What is the permanent press wash cycle?

It is important to note that washing in hot water will fade colored garments, so avoid it whenever possible. The permanent press cycle helps protect repeatedly washed clothes by maintaining the fabric of the garment. Using the right cycle in the washing machine is only half the battle. The other part is using the right detergent to clean and help prevent fading. For a one-button machine choose either permanent press or warm water, but if it's a two-button machine, then pair the two.
