How big are a panther's paws?
By Forinfos - 23/08/2025 - 0 comments
Panther paws are, on average, about 2 inches wide, the same width as a softball. Panthers are sexually dimorphic, meaning males and females possess obviously different physical characteristics, and males tend to have larger paws than females.
Adult females have paws that range from 1.6 inches to 2.0 inches wide, whereas male paws are between 2.0 and 2.4 inches wide. Paw size is not always indicative of overall body size, especially in male kittens, whose paws may be larger than those of adult females long before they reach maturity. On any given individual, the front paws are typically slightly wider than the back.
