A baby Siberian tiger weighs approximately 2 pounds. After a gestation period of three to four months, females give birth to litters of up to five cubs. They are born blind and rely on their mothers for the first 18 months of life.
Siberian tigers reach maturity at 3 years old and are considered one of the largest subspecies of tigers. They can reach a weight of up to 660 pounds and a length of up to 10 feet. Like all tigers, the Siberian tiger is an endangered species, with only around 400 left in the wild. They are found in a small area of eastern Russia, where they are protected.
