How is physics used in everyday life?

Physics is something that people tend not to think about, even when using it, like listening to the sound waves put off by music, moving objects or shooting a gun. Physics is a science based in mathematics, experiments and measurements, especially with observations on the natural world.

When someone listens to music, the speaker and the volume of the sound affect the sound waves that travel from the player to the listener's ear, which is a type of physics. The distance from the listener to the playing device is also a factor of physics. When a person moves an object up a ramp, it is generally because it is easier than lifting the same object up to carry it.
