What are Pigdin themes?

Pidgin themes are additional files that can change the look and feel of the Pidgin chat program. Pidgin can be installed on a variety of operating systems, including Linux, Mac and Windows. However, these installations all come with the same basic theme.

In order to change the Pidgin theme, users can download and install individual theme files from the Internet. Those unfamiliar with adding themes can simply download the Pidgin theme installer program. The installer allows the user to select from a variety of standard themes and install them with a click of the mouse. Pidgin also allows the option of creating custom themes, although this requires a bit of coding knowledge.
