What is Pinnacle Studio used for?

Pinnacle Studio is a video editing software that allows users to perform a range of video related tasks including capturing content, cutting and editing clips, and burning videos to physical media. It was created to be the consumer-level counterpart to Liquid Edition, Pinnacle's former professional-level software.

Pinnacle Studio allows users to perform the majority of common video editing tasks such as cropping, zooming and adding effects to video clips. It also provides functionality for adding and editing audio. Relative to professional-level software, Pinnacle Studio only offers basic functionality; however, it features a simple interface that is relatively accessible for novice users.
