What is a pool aerator?
By Forinfos - 13/01/2026 - 0 comments
A pool aerator is an attachment that pumps the pool water through a sprayer, sending the water through the air and back into the pool in small droplets. Breaking the water into droplets allows it to absorb oxygen, a process that slightly cools the water and reduces the pool's temperature.
Pool aerators are used in the summer to make pools more comfortable, because the attachments can lower the water temperature by about 4 degrees Fahrenheit. Some public pools use them as a water feature for children because the aerators spray a steady stream of water several feet over the pool's surface.
