Some popular Florida Gulf Coast beaches include Henderson Beach State Park, St. George Island and Clearwater Beach. Florida's Gulf Coast has hundreds of beaches in total.

Henderson Beach State Park is along the coastline of the city of Destin. The beach is 1.5 miles long and is popular for both swimming and as a launching point for fishing excursions.

St. George's Island is 22 miles long and is located at the crook of the Florida Panhandle. Much of the coastline in this area is undeveloped and home to wild animals.

The white sand beaches at Clearwater frequently win travel awards. The city of Clearwater is located near St. Petersburg and Tampa.
