How do you know when pork is fully cooked?
By Forinfos - 11/12/2025 - 0 comments
Pork is fully cooked when it reaches an internal temperature between 145 and 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Meat thermometers should be used to find an accurate temperature.
Pork that is cooked to an internal temperature of 145F will be slightly pink, tender and juicy. Pork that is cooked too long becomes dry and yields a bland flavor.
When preparing pork, wash hands and counter surfaces frequently to prevent cross contamination. To prevent food-borne illness, pork should be kept separate from other food products.
Pork should rest for at least three minutes before it is served. Leftover pork needs to be promptly refrigerated.
