What is a power board for a TV?
By Forinfos - 01/02/2026 - 0 comments
A power board, also known as a power strip, is a row of connected electrical sockets that attaches to the end of a flexible cable, allowing multiple electrical devices to be powered from a single electrical socket. Power boards are often used when lots of devices need to be plugged into the same outlet, preventing issues from lack of room.
Power strips often include a circuit breaker to stop the flow of electricity to the devices plugged into the board in case of an overload or a short circuit. This system is in place to prevent the destruction or frying of devices that would otherwise be in direct contact with the flow of current.
