Does the Praetorian Insurance Company still sell insurance?
By Forinfos - 04/10/2025 - 0 comments
As of April 2015, Praetorian Insurance Company is still in business as a subsidiary of QBE Insurance Group Limited of Australia, but it is unclear if it directly sells insurance policies. The company was acquired by QBE in 2007 and previously specialized in auto insurance in the New Jersey area.
Praetorian does not appear to have its own website, and there is no indication that insurance is being offered directly through the company, though QBE and its other subsidiaries provide many similar insurance products. Praetorian is still intact, however, and has an "A" rating with A.M. Best. Its listed address is the same as that of QBE's U.S. headquarters.
