What product did Elvis use in his hair?

Elvis used a variety of hair products. Larry Geller, his personal hairstylist, used a combination of a benign-based shampoo mixed with vitamin capsules and other herbs.

Geller also used vitamin E and jojoba oil to style Elvis’ hair. He then used a hairspray to set the hair. Geller alternated between multiple brands of hairspray so that Elvis’ hair wouldn't dry out. Along with shampooing Elvis’ hair daily, Geller also dyed Elvis’ hair every two to three weeks using a L’Oreal formula. Some of Geller’s first hair product mixes were tested on Elvis. Elvis joked that Geller could do whatever he wanted to with his hair as long as he made sure he could keep it.
