Who is psychic Amy Allan?

Amy Allan is a psychic medium who appears on the television series "The Dead Files" with co-host and retired homicide detective Steve DiSchiavi. She claims to be able to speak with the dead and works with police agencies to conduct investigations.

Amy attended the University of Arizona to study psychology and was mentored by a well-known para-psychologist. "The Dead Files" airs on the Travel Channel as of 2015. It features Amy and Steve traveling across America to investigate unsolved paranormal phenomena claims in allegedly haunted locations. Amy does the channeling portion of the investigation, and Steve searches for physical evidence. The series premiered in 2011.
