What is a PTCB exam?
By Forinfos - 11/03/2026 - 0 comments
The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board gives the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam for licensing of aspiring pharmacy technicians. To apply for the PTCE, eligibility requirements must be met and applications are made online. Once application approval is received, candidates are given a 90-day window to schedule and take the exam.
The goal of the PTCB is advocating a solitary standard across the nation for certification of pharmacy technicians. Passing the PTCE is a step on the path to becoming a fully licensed pharmacist. A pharmacy technician is a support assistant for pharmacists and is responsible for preparing, distributing and stocking of pharmaceutical supplies and medications.
