What is the purpose of a Cuisinart coffeemaker water filter?
By Forinfos - 20/04/2025 - 0 comments
The water filters in Cuisinart coffeemakers remove the calcium and chlorine in tap water, and they help to rid the water of any unpleasant tastes or odors that may be present. As of 2014, Cuisinart coffeemakers such as the Coffee Plus programmable model use charcoal water filters.
Cuisinart recommends changing the water filter after 60 uses or every 60 days, with more frequent changes if the household uses hard water. Before a new filter is inserted, it should be immersed in cold tap water for 15 minutes. Once the new filter is installed, it should be flushed under cold running tap water for 10 seconds.
