A quality of work evaluation is a technique employers use to gauge employee performance over a period. The work is assessed through performance appraisals by the Human Resource department.
A quality of work evaluation helps employers ensure that employees are meeting the set standards. The human resource department issues performance evaluation forms for the employees to fill out and submit; it then awards points accordingly. The technique helps the company deal with employees who are under-performing and allows it to issue warnings if necessary.
Quality of work evaluation increases effectiveness in organizations. Most if not all companies have adopted this technique.
