Where is Quebec located?

Quebec is located in the northeastern portion of North America, in the country of Canada. It is located in the eastern part of Canada and covers nearly 600,000 square miles of land.

Quebec is the largest province in Canada. It contains over 750,000 lakes and 130,000 rivers and streams. Hydroelectric power provides the province with more than 75 percent of the electricity it needs, and it comprises a large portion of the province's economy. Another key part of Quebec's economy is its forests. Nearly half of the province is comprised of trees, and their management and protection is a top priority of the province.
