Where is R S Strauss Auto Parts located?

As of 2015, R&S Strauss Auto Parts no longer operates any stores as it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2012. Prior to its bankruptcy, R&S Strauss Auto Parts had been renamed to Strauss Discount Auto and operated 46 stores, 23 of which were in New Jersey.

Strauss Discount Auto's bankruptcy led to the firing of approximately 580 employees and the immediate closing of all of the stores it was operating at the time. The bankruptcy petition was filed at the Newark federal bankruptcy court, and the company stated that it would try to sell the business. At the time of the filing, Strauss Discount Auto listed debts and assets of over $10 million.
