What are razor edge pit bulls?

Razor Edge pit bulls are a part of a specific breed of pit bulls that was originally created to breed the dogs to be a companion. The breed was developed by Dave Wilson and got its name from the kennel he owned in Virginia: Razor's Edge.

Wilson first bred Razor Edge pit bulls in the 1980s. He wanted puppies that would grow to have a shorter snout and a stronger chest. He also wanted them to have a higher probability of being gray in color. To do this, he bred pit bulls from different breeders that had dogs with these qualities.
