Are there real vampire hunters?

At one time, when vampires were actually considered to be real creatures, there were people who made a living hunting them. However, since the idea of a blood-sucking, immortal creature is purely mythological, there are no true vampire hunters.

A century ago, the threat of vampires was considered real. In fact, families often buried their dead after desecrating them in an attempt to prevent the corpse from coming back to life. Today, however, vampires are generally understood to be nothing more than folklore. As such, there is no need for a vampire hunter. There are, however, many people who like to roleplay and pretend to be vampire or hunter.
