Is there a recall on Dodge Caliber brakes?
By Forinfos - 23/01/2026 - 0 comments
On Dec. 29, 2006, Dodge announced a recall on the 2007 Dodge Caliber for a problem with the anti-lock braking system. The recall impacted up to 50,665 vehicles. Dodge issued a second recall for a parking brake problem on May 7, 2007.
Chrysler instructed 2007 Caliber owners to take their vehicles to authorized Dodge dealers to have the electronic control units reprogrammed for the recall issued in December 2006.
Dodge initiated the May 2007 recall due to certain 2007 Dodge Calibers with rear disc brakes containing wheel-hub mounting bolts of an inappropriate size. The length of the bolts potentially interfered with the correct functioning of the parking brake. The recall affected up to 410 vehicles.
