The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall for 2007 and 2008 Chevrolet Silverados for problems with the heated windshield wiper system. K2 Motor also recalled their aftermarket Silverado headlamps due to missing side reflectors.
Owners of affected Chevrolet models can have their windshield wiper system repaired at authorized General Motors dealers at no charge. The repair requires installation of a wire harness with an in-line fuse.
K2 Motor offers a full refund for owners of the recalled headlamps. The company issued notifications to affected purchasers following the December 2008 recall. As of 2015, owners can also call K2 Motor at 909-839-2992.
