What are some recalls on the Chevrolet Uplander?

Some recalls involving Chevrolet Uplanders were a recall for a defect in steering control, one for incorrect tire labeling and another for a problem with rear suspension trailing arms. These recalls only involved Chevrolet Uplanders manufactured between 2006 and 2008.

The steering-control recall was issued due to defective steering knuckles on the Uplander vehicles. If the steering knuckle breaks, a driver may lose control of the vehicle and crash. The recalls were issued for the rear-suspension trailing arms because a broken rear-suspension trailing arm sometimes results in the vehicle's back axle becoming partially or completely severed, increasing the likelihood of a crash.
