What are some recipes for homemade trout bait?

George Magyar and Joe Spalding have posted their trout bait mixes on MissouriTroutHunter.com. Both recipes rely on a cream cheese base mixed with their own ingredients.

Magyar's recipe mixes cream cheese with finely sifted dried bread crumbs, baking soda and a little water to form into a ball. Add food coloring as desired, and mix in other attractants, such as garlic or anise oil.

Spalding's recipe mixes six uncooked brown-and-serve rolls with a stick of cream cheese and kneads the mixture to the consistency of clay before working in the grease from frying couple of strips of bacon. Add food coloring before firming up the dough in the refrigerator.
