In 2016, Regal Cinemas advertises showing Met performances of Gaetano Donizetti's "Roberto Devereux" and Richard Strauss's "Elektra." Live shows begin in April, and in the weeks preceding the performance, the opera becomes part of Regal's movie lineup.

Live and encore performances of Met operas are available only in select Regal Cinemas in all regions across the United States.
