How do you remove spray paint from skin?

Use baby oil to remove spray paint from the skin and then wash thoroughly with soap and water. Consider using an exfoliating soap, such as Lava, to remove the paint more easily.

Spray paint is effective for covering a variety of surfaces in a short period of time. Unfortunately, many spray paints are oil-based and more difficult to remove than water-based paints. It is possible to remove these paints with a little effort.

1. Apply baby oil
Pour a small amount of baby oil or mineral oil onto the area covered with spray paint. Rub the oil thoroughly over the skin. The oil should start dissolving the oil-based paint. Three to four applications of baby oil may be needed to remove most of the paint.
2. Wash hands
Use soap and water to wash the paint residue and excess baby oil from the skin. An exfoliating soap may help scrub away any stubborn paint particles. Dry skin completely with a clean towel.
3. Apply another coat of baby oil
Rub in another coat of baby oil to remove any last remnants of spray paint. Wipe off any excess oil with a cloth or paper towel. This should also help moisturize the skin and protect it against the elements.
