How often do you have to replace LED headlights?

LED headlights typically need to be replaced every five to 10 years, depending on the usage and quality of the bulb. Some bulb makers claim that LED headlights have a lifespan of up to 15,000 hours, although an average LED still produces 60 percent of power up to 50,000 hours.
LED light bulb lifespan is reduced by excess moisture and exposure to heat. LED bulbs convert energy into light more efficiently than halogen or xenon bulbs but are affected more by ambient temperature increases. Properly maintained LED headlights typically last longer than halogen or xenon bulbs, but they usually have a higher upfront cost.
