How do you reset your Chrome settings?

The settings in Chrome can be reset by opening Settings, going to Advanced Settings and selecting the Reset Settings feature. After this initial resetting, the reset bookmarks and passwords will remain intact.

1. Open Settings in the Chrome browser

   Select the icon on the upper right portion of the browser that has three horizontal lines stacked on top of each other. Toward the bottom of the drop-down menu, select the Settings option.

2. Go to Advanced Settings

   Go toward the bottom of the screen and select the Show Advanced Settings option.

3. Reset settings

   Select the option to Reset Settings located towards the bottom of the page.

4. Confirm the reset

   In the dialogue box that appears, confirm the request to reset Chrome.
