Both Goodman and Amana central air conditioners are carried by online air-conditioning wholesaler ACWholesalers and installers contracted through home-improvement stores such as Lowe's and The Home Depot. Both Goodman-brand and Amana-brand air-conditioning products are manufactured by Goodman, as of 2015.

The Amana name is currently owned by Whirlpool, which still manufactures Amana appliances with the imprint. Amana was initially acquired by Goodman in 1997, which subsequently sold the home appliance division to Maytag in 2001. Whirlpool acquired the name as part of its acquisition of Maytag in 2006 but continues to license the name to Goodman for central air-conditioning and heating products.
