What is Reumofan Plus?

Reumofan Plus is a dietary supplement that claims to treat conditions such as arthritis, osteoporosis and bone cancer, according to the U.S Food and Drug Administration. However, the FDA has found several undeclared prescription drugs inside of the product and has issued a health advisory.

In addition to the ingredients listed on the label, the FDA has found several prescription drugs in Reumofan Plus: methocarbamol, dexamethasone and diclofenac sodium. Taking these drugs improperly can cause low blood pressure, damage to the bones, increased blood sugar and severe bleeding; sometimes, the effects can be life threatening. The FDA recommends that individuals who have taken Reumofan Plus consult with a doctor.
