How long does Mars take to spin on its axis?
By Forinfos - 14/09/2025 - 0 comments
Mars makes a complete rotation on its axis every 24 hours and 37 minutes. The length of a day on Mars is only 39 minutes and 35 seconds longer than the length of a day on Earth.
Mars is the fourth planet in the solar system. In addition to its period of rotation, Mars shares many other similarities with the Earth. Mars has an axial tilt of 25 degrees, which is slightly higher than that of the Earth. This axial tilt means that Mars also experiences seasonal shifts although each season lasts considerably longer due to the additional length of the Martian year.
