What is RFID blocking?
By Forinfos - 22/03/2025 - 0 comments
Radio Frequency Identification blocking refers to technology that prevents unsolicited RFID scanning and data harvesting that can lead to theft and duplication of credit card and personal information. This technology is typically part of an RFID-blocking wallet and creates interference to block most RFID readers.
RFID blocking technology generally uses material that can provide interruption to any radio waves that can steal information from an RFID chip. These materials are typically metallic and include common alloys, such as aluminum. It is also possible to achieve a similar RFID-blocking effect in a conventional wallet by placing a sheet of foil that generates a similar interference effect.
