Are Rheem gas furnaces energy efficient?

Energy-efficient Rheem gas furnaces in production as of 2015 typically have average fuel use efficiency ratings of 95 percent or better. The Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute currently certifies 75 Rheem gas furnace models as energy-efficient models that qualify for average fuel-efficiency tax credits.

In addition to the Rheem brand name, several high-efficiency furnaces produced by Rheem are sold under alternate brand names, such as Duroguard, Weatherking and Sure. Additionally, 36 more Rheem-manufactured gas furnace models qualify for an efficient central-fan tax credit, known as the Advanced Main Air Circulation Fan credit, in addition to tax credits for fuel efficiency.
