What is a Rheem thermostat?

Rheem thermostats read the temperature in the house and automatically turn on the heat or air conditioning as needed to bring the house to the appropriate temperature. The devices are programmable, allowing users to adjust the temperature at preset times for comfort and energy savings.

Some Rheem thermostats are designed to work with both electric air conditioning units and gas or oil furnaces, as of 2015. Devices include options such as large touchscreens, humidity control and alerts when service is needed. The EcoNet Control Center, which also manages the home water heater, allows users to control the thermostat with a smartphone app.
