Does Riddex Plus work?

Riddex Plus claims to deter pests without requiring homeowners to spray pesticides in their homes. According to ConsumerSearch, Riddex Plus doesn't work, and there are no scientific facts to back up its claims.
Riddex Plus is a small device that plugs directly into the wall outlet of a home. The device is said to use digital pulse technology to emit a very low sound frequency, inaudible to humans. This is intended to create an irritating and harsh environment for pests, such as mice and roaches, that may be living inside the walls of a home. However, ConsumerSearch reports that tests suggest that it does very little, if anything, to deter pests.
