How do you know if your Rival crockpot has been recalled?

RivalProducts.com provides a list of all recalled slow cookers. Match your model number, located on the base of your slow cooker, to the model numbers affected by the recall.

In January 1999 and September 2004, several models of Rival slow cookers were recalled after reports of the handles breaking off the base of the product.

If the model number on your slow cooker is included in the recall, stop using the product immediately. If the code on the plug matches one on the list, follow the remainder of the recall instructions. Once Rival confirms that your cooker is included in the recall, expect a replacement base within two to three weeks.
