According to the Mayo Clinic, one of the symptoms of rosacea includes eye problems. Approximately 50 percent of people who have rosacea experience eye dryness and irritation and puffy, reddened eyelids.
According to the Mayo Clinic, other symptoms of rosacea may include redness in the face, swollen red bumps and an enlarged nose. Small blood vessels on the nose and cheeks often become visible with rosacea. The swollen red bumps bear resemblance to acne. An enlarged nose is a more rare symptom, resulting from the nose skin thickening and is experienced more often by men than women. Rosacea most often affects women with fair skin who are middle-aged.
