The S281 Saleen is a variant on the Ford Mustang that was first introduced in 1995. The original S281 featured a 220 horsepower, naturally aspirated V-8 engine while the most recent model utilizes a supercharged 400 horsepower engine and is able to go from zero to 60 in 4.6 seconds.

There have been several variants of the S281 released that feature a range of cosmetic and performance enhancing upgrades. The current generation of the S281 features a Series VI screw-type supercharger and intercooler, a single-overhead cam 24-valve V-8 aluminium-block engine and is available in either a four-passenger or two-door coup configuration.
