Are there any schools that offer free online university degrees?

As of July 2015, one university that offers degrees online for free is University of the People. The school was founded in 2009 and became accredited by the Distance and Education Training Council in 2014. It is the first non-profit university that offers tuition-free degrees online.

As of 2015, students have the option to choose from four undergraduate degrees: Associate degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration and Bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration. These fields are in demand throughout the world, notes University of the People. Students also take online general education requirements to complete a degree.
