How do you search for an inmate in Gaston County Jail?

Information about inmates in Gaston County Jail is available by searching the website for the Gaston County Sheriff's office. Visit Gaston.gov, and search for 'Sheriff' under the 'Departments' tab, then click 'Inmate Information', 'Inmate Search' and 'Inmate Query'.

Once you arrive at the 'Inmate Query' page, simply enter the inmate's name or booking number if you are searching for a particular person. If you are unsure of the person's name, you may search for inmates based on the possible date on which they were booked into the jail. However, this only searches for inmates booked into the jail in the current year or within the previous two years.
