How do you search for Verizon Wi-Fi hotspots?

Search for Verizon Wi-Fi hotspots by using the online search tool on Verizon.com. The search tool is free to use and does not require the user to be a Verizon customer.

To use the tool, first select a country from the drop-down list. Then indicate the exact state, city and venue you need a Wi-Fi hotspot in. Click Search to see the businesses that offer Verizon Wi-Fi hotspots. Click Map It on the last column of a specific hotspot to see its exact location on an interactive map. Once on the map, you can click Directions to see turn-by-turn directions to the hotspot.

To be eligible for Verizon Wi-Fi hotspots, you must first subscribe to a Fios or high speed Internet plan by Verizon. You must then register to Verizon.com to create a Verizon username and password, and download the Wi-Fi Connect application.

Once on the Verizon.com homepage, click My Verizon to register to the Wi-Fi hotspot service. Enter the username and the password of your Verizon account, click My Services on the left, and then select Internet. Click Manage under Verizon Wi-Fi, then click Register Now. Pick a username and a password to use with your Wi-Fi account. You cannot use your Verizon username. Click Next, and then click Finish to complete the registration.
