What services are provided by the Texas Apartment Association?

The Texas Apartment Association is an organization that represents the interests of the state's housing rental industry in legislative affairs, in addition to providing industry educational opportunities, networking opportunities and standardized leases and related forms. The association also publishes the "TAA Redbook," a source of pricing and market value information.

The organization of educational opportunities and networking events is one of the Texas Apartment Association's most important functions. The association has more than 11,000 members and represents more than 2 million units across the state of Texas, as of 2015. It is currently considered the largest apartment association in the United States and has 25 affiliated local organizations across Texas that specialize in providing information and aid to local landlords and housing professionals.
